Karen Berry is a Senior Music Education major at Towson University, studying bass under Victor Dvoskin.  She is a fourth-year member of the Towson University Symphony Orchestra, and has also performed with Towson's Symphonic Band, traveling Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Choral Society.  She has played in the pit for Johann Strauss' Die Fledermaus and Mozart's Die Zauberflote, as well as a few musicals.  A substitute private strings teacher at the Bel Air School of Music and Dance, Karen is currently student teaching in schools throughout Maryland to finish her Music Education Degree.  She recently completed an internship at Towson's Albert S. Cook Library with the Performing Arts librarian Lisa Woznicki, and will continue to volunteer at the library through the next year.  After graduation, she plans to continue performing, and pursue a career in either Music Librarianship or Music Education..
